How Stickers & Business Cards Give Corporate Profile to Woofo Empawrium

When it comes to parenting pets, I'm sure all dog owners are giddy when they tell others about their experiences. Because who wouldn't be happy if they had an amazing dog they could be with in any situation, right? Speaking of which, it's nice to hear stories that gradually become success stories of their business because of their love for dogs. Like Woofo Empawrium that is successful in selling items for fur parents that they themselves love and use.

Tell us about your company. What are the products or services you've offered?

We are a small online shop called Woofo Empawrium, based in Auckland, designing and creating martingale collars (Greyhound collars), rope leads & sight-hound related accessories. It started with us adopting our first greyhound Zephyr; who being a sighthound needed a martingale collar. Upon being introduced to these wide collars, we saw a canvas with the potential to showcase some unique designs. From there we immediately started to source fabrics with unique patterns, while we began to design some of our own. Upon getting our first greyhound it took us about 2 days to become infuriated with the leash we had, and it took us another week to realise there were no better options out there; so we decided to just make our own, and It all just sort of snowballed from there. The goal was to come out with a durable, comfortable, and functional option, and I think that’s what I’ve ended up with. We hope others will feel the same once they give it a go!

What makes your business different from the rest?

We only sell products that we like and use ourselves! We put a lot of thought, testing, research, and love into what we bring to market; as we look to solve the issues we see as dog owners. And we try to do this with sustainable sourcing. Our handmade leashes are all done in-house with materials sourced locally where possible. And when it hasn't been possible, with companies who align with our beliefs and sustainability goals. We only sell products that we like and use ourselves! We use business cards as a good way to promote our business, and a favorite for us is thank-you cards, which have allowed us to add a little bit of extra excitement, pizzazz, and personalization to our unboxing experience. The business cards have really helped improve the professional image of our business while dealing with suppliers and other businesses. They have also been a great way to quickly direct a client to our business, and socials. The stickers (while also being sale items in some instances) have really helped us create an unboxing experience we think fits with our brand image, while allowing us to keep our branding when working with different packaging materials, and methods of packing. And the thank you cards have helped create a more personal dialogue between ourselves and some of our customers, which has definitely led to more loyal customers, and repeat business!
